And nick, that preacher was  a wise man. Never try to explain to a woman what her role is within a marriage. And ladies, never try to explain to a man what his role is within a marriage. Men and women were gifted with intelligence and reason,...

The way I understand the whole man/women gender role things is a lot like suzy (again I am thinking suzy needs to become mine and walk's triplet sometimes and shares the brain too) I don't think the rib has anything to do with anything other than...

Woah, woah, woah, I didn't say nothing! I'm just repeating what others have said. JK about the woah part : ) In all seriousness though, I'm not intending to teach here, just sharing things I've heard. Yes, what you asked about striking the heal,...

Nick, Are you saying that the strike to the heal is the struggles that Christ had to endure for our sins and and when He resurrected that was the death blow? I believe in submitting one to another just like it says in Eph. 5:21 and of course...

Hey Belle, I've heard it explained like this: Striking/bruising the heal means making it hard for one to walk, or make their path/way difficult, making obstacles & difficulties for them, it will hurt someone. Striking/bruising the head is a...

Hi Suzi, I am new to this group and it is nice to meet you.  Thank you for helping me with my questions. I had many come to mind last night more than I ever thought imagined. I kind of felt I went left feild on some of my thought process, but...

Belle95: Genesis 1:29 & 30 should answer your question about what animals ate before sin. Before sin there was no death...plant life was the original diet for humans and animals.  I have my opinions about the subject of women wanting to...

Hello again, I am a little behind here I am Gen. 3 and I just want to say I never gave it much thought about the first animal sacrifice and how it must have felt for Adam and Eve to see the first death of an animal. As I went looking into...

The next 2 days are portions of the life of Isaac, the son promised to Abraham and Sarah. These passages were chosen for similarities between Isaac's life & that of Jesus'. The passages were also chosen for God's reminder to us of His promise to...

I've been hearing the words, "A voice crying in the wilderness", a lot lately. One thing about John the Baptist is he didn't get obstacled by man's diplomacy, he just spoke out the truth he knew. Your message here sounds like a voice crying out in...

Suzi ! At the beginning of the Christmas season readings I was hoping we'd hear quite a bit about Mary. I adore her so much, she's just so adorable! And you're talking about her : D  You reminded me of a song I hadn't listened to in awhile....

Genesis 15:  I always have a difficult time with all of the animal sacrifices; seems to extreme in regards to how much and how often animals were sacrificed. Not my best topic; however, Abraham was faithful in doing as God instructed. I'm...

I can't hel but think about the times in which we live, and of the fact that at some point my name will come before God in the investigative judgement...if it hasn't already. I picture this moment in my mind, and wonder, will I be there, clinging to my cherished sins, claiming that, "I just couldn't let them go! I tried! it was too hard!" If so, I can just imagine God looking at me, and pointing to Jesus...and saying to me, "with Christ NOTHING is too hard. Jesus won the victories as an example of how you, Sue, also could have won the victory!"

Or , when my name comes up, will I be bowed in humble, willing, loving, obedient submission....saying to my God, "it wasn't easy, but Jesus made it possible...with His help, and by your grace, Father, I am thankful to say that, yes, I won the victories!"

We NEED to hear that voice crying in the wilderness! Time runs short, and salvation is at stake.

      I love you !
